TERMS AND CONDITIONS – unless otherwise specified in writing these terms and conditions apply at all times

 A booking deposit as stipulated is due at the point of booking – otherwise the full amount is payable in advance. This booking deposit (or full amount if paid in advance) is non-refundable once paid.

 Where a credit card payment has been accepted – management reserve the right to keep the credit card details for a period of 30 days to cover any missing payments or damages found to your room after you have vacated the premises.

 Where a credit card is not held we reserve the right to notify and invoice you for any damages made to your room for up to 30 days after you have vacated the premises.

 All balances, security deposits, additional requirement expenses etc. shall be due payable on arrival.

 Your ARRIVAL time for the room is 17.00 (5.00) pm or after – unless otherwise stated / agreed

 Your DEPARTURE time from the room is 11.00 am or before – unless otherwise stated / agreed

 If you arrive or depart outside these times it is strictly by prior arrangement with the management.

 You are strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for all of your party’s personal belongings, since these are not covered by the management’s insurance.

 The manager is not liable for any injuries to the client whether by accident or as a result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the manager. Suitable insurance must be taken by the client for this and all other concerns.

 The maximum number to reside in the room must not exceed the number of people the room is stipulated to accommodate or as stated in your booking. UNLESS the management has given prior permission, or the advertising details provide optional additional sleeping arrangements e.g. sofa-bed where a new maximum number is stipulated and an additional cost is chargeable.

 The guest agrees to be considerate at all times to other guests, keeping noise and disturbance levels to a minimum. Failure to do so may result in complaints and / or financial claims from other guests – the cost of which will be passed onto the offending guest and invoiced accordingly.

 Cleaning and change of bed linen / towels is done prior to arrival and on departure.

 If your stay is for more than one night, the management offer a daily freshen up service which includes the making up of your bed, fresh hospitality items, and a very light clean.

 If you wish your towels or bed-linen to be changed – you will need to request this with the management, and there may be an additional charge.

 If you do not wish to be disturbed by cleaners – please use the sign on the door accordingly, otherwise cleaners will attend the room as they are able.

 After 5.00 pm the daily freshen up service is not available.

 Continental buffet breakfast IS included at Harmony Bay B&B – and the cost of which is already included in your booking cost. We do NOT offer breakfast refunds. Breakfast is served at the times stipulated by management on arrival and is not available outside of these times.

 The guest shall report to the management without delay any defects in the property or breakdown of appliances in the "property". Any such faults shall be repaired or replaced as soon as is possible.

 However, the management are not liable to the guest for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the “property” nor for any damage done by the guest to any appliance in the “property”

 If the property is destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period, management reserve the right to notify the guest and refund all sums paid thus far in respect of the rental period.

 UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE OWNERS LIABILITY TO THE GUEST EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE RENTAL PERIOD.

 Keys must be handed over at reception on departure – failure to do this or loss of keys during your stay will incur a cost of 100 pounds chargeable to the guest for replacement locks.

 In making this booking and then paying the deposit, it is understood by all parties that these terms and conditions have been READ and AGREED with, and the terms therein will be honoured by the client at all times during the period booked.

 This contract shall be governed by English law in every particular including formation and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in any court or competent jurisdiction in England.
